Director/DP Liz Hinlein creates emotionally impactful, award winning work that spans across feature films, TV commercials, branding promos and photography. VARIETY hailed her award winning feature film, OTHER PEOPLE’S CHILDREN as an intriguing debut. She has directed commercials and branding films for global brands, partnering repeatedly with a diverse array of clients including Dove, Revlon, Gilette, Publix, The Sundance Chanel, and MAC Cosmetics. With a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute, Liz approaches her work with a trained eye to detail. She has collaborated with world-renowned artists; Judith Jamison, Daniel Ezralow, Rebeca Mendez, The Wallis Annenberg Foundation and The Desmond Tutu Unity Project on an array of creative photography and video projects. As an upcoming TV director she participated in the Sony, Viacom and DGA TV development director programs. She is currently in development on two narrative feature films; a dark dramedy, Getting Tommy Laid, and Move, a period piece set in the 1980’s in Philadelphia as well as Portal, a Virtual Reality experiental docu series.
